Why is there a shortage of postive black male images on tv?

Is it me or is that I barely see shortage of black men on tv nowadays especially on primetime tv. We all remember when the WB had numerous sitcoms featuring blacks shows like the wayans bros. the parent hood and all about the andersons. Now it's called the CW (in which it stands for Catered to Whites) NBC once carried the cosby show for eight seasons and now that network doesn't have a black sitcom, plus I called NBC No Blacks will ever Conquer. Im sure I gonna get a lot of heat for this-but this question has to be asked. I do get that mainly blacks don't necessary bring in ratings in mostly white households. Don't get me wrong I know blacks watch tv too but are we outnumbered the last tyme i've checked. In showbiz black women are doin way better than blk men just look at whoopi and sherri on the view, wendy williams, and mo'nique on bet. The only time blk men are on our tv sets is where you guessed it their either gettin arrested for dogfighting charges (vick) shootin yourself in the foot at a nightclub (burress) smacked up an r/b diva (chris brown) or snatching a microphone from a country artist (kanye west.) This looks like an pattern from where im lookin at. For years images sends a message and that message is "STAY AWAY FROM BLACK MEN." This is the reason why I have self-hate (that's right I said self hate!).......but im dealing with it the best way I can.
