Help me! What is this song?

I heard this song in a sitka store and now I can't get it out of my head. It was a conversation between these two guys- one was like in a spaceship or a plane or something and he was talking to someone in a control tower or on the ground. It went like ``this is captain(or pilot or officer) something`` It was sad. Any suggestions? If you get it, you're a genius
