I need the name for a character?

This character is a general of an army in my story, but later resigns. In my story their is like, a shortage of materials for guns, so since this guy was a general he has acces to allot of guns, and guns most people wouldn't be able to have acces to. He is kinda like the good guy version of Don Krieg. Also, there is one major group, of like 5 people that this story fallows, and he helps them out in battles in and out, but later joins stably after one of them dies. Also, I don't want his name to sound American, or Japanese, but I don't really care, whatever you say will be nice and thank you for answering.
