Why are the Minnesota Timberwolves such Idiots?

I believe that all 30 NBA teams have made some "mistakes". Take my Nets for example. They had the opportunity to draft Kobe Bryant in 96, but instead chose Kerry Kittles who couldn't stay healthy and ended up getting traded just as the Nets were making noise in the early 2000s. Or take the Pistons for example. They could have had Carmelo Anthony, but chose Darko Milicic as their #2 pick. It happens.
