Why do women think they are special and a prize to be persued ?

OK, I know that people will say that is not the case but that seems to be how many women think. But such a point of view is irrational. There are literally billions of women in the world, there is no shortage. If something is in abundant supply it is by definition not special. Panda and Orangutangs are special, they are rare and getting rarer. But women, and for that matter men as well,......no.
