Pilot in the Marine Corps or Air Force?

I'm applying for scholarships from both the NROTC and AFROTC and my overall goal is to become a fighter pilot (just like everyone else on the web) and I feel very confident that if I work hard enough in either program I could reach my goal. My overall question though is which branch would make that goal easier to reach. I know that the Marine Corps gives everyone a chance at flight school but the Air Force is strictly focused on aviation.
